Welcome

Our non-profit foundation was established in 2023 by Robert Peroni. We are active in Tasiilaq, East Greenland. Together with local stakeholders, we promote tourism that benefits the common good, engage in social initiatives, and support the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Inuit of East Greenland.

Why are we doing this?

East Greenland is undergoing rapid change. Until the 1950s and 1960s, the Inuit here lived largely traditional lives, hunting with dog sleds and fishing with kayaks.

Now, life here is Europeanized. Change is happening in almost every field, while everyday life for families continues in one of the most remote regions in the world. Our foundation is committed to support this tranformation in a positive way.

A young Inuit woman looks into the camera and makes the victory sign with her index and middle fingers. She smiles. The picture was taken in the kitchen of The Red House.

"East Greenland needs a sustainable future for the people who live there under extreme conditions." - Robert Peroni
